Carnival Football Cup 2022 was an invitational football tournament under the able guidance and supervision of Shri Ashim Bose, Councilor of Ward No.70(KMC) and a prudent sports lover. The 7 a side tournament embraces the spirit of Unity, Honor and Sports in the football crazy city of Kolkata.

Further details of the tournament are as follows:

1.Venue: Northern Park Ground, Kolkata - 700020.

2. Date of the event: 23rd June to 26th June (4 days)

3. Captain's meet will be held on 18th June evening and the final squad of 12 players will have to be 

finalized and submitted by the captains during the captain's meet along with Valid Age Proof-Voter Card

4. The age rules of the 7 a side tournament are as follows:

20-30 years - 2 players in the playing 7

30-40 years - 3 players in the playing 7

40+ years: 2 players in playing 7

5. The entire Tournament will be organized under flood lights.

6. Participating Teams – 16 Famous Socio-Cultural Clubs of Kolkata. 

7. Description: 16 teams divided in 4 groups, 7 a side tournament with 12 players squad in each team and panelled referees.

8. LIVE coverage of Semi-final and Final matches.

9. Jersey will be provided by the Organizing Committee for 12 Players in the squad.

10. Cash Prize of Rs. 20,000 along with Champion’s Shield for The Winner of the Carnival Football Cup 2022 and Runners Up will get Rs.10,000 along with shield.

11. There will be a Special Fair Play award for the most disciplined team and a Special Award for the Most Supported Team (Online and Offline). Details will be shared on the day of Captain’s meet.

12. Final game will be played on 26th June, followed by a special match between Eminent Sports Personalities, Celebrities, Journalists and other Renowned Personalities.
